Peter De Roma

Peter has over 27 years experience which includes multi-disciplinary project management, civil/structural engineering design, contract administration, strategic infrastructure management, local government and community development/planning, management and implementation of major programs. Peter has also worked extensively in remote areas and indigenous communities throughout Queensland providing essential health infrastructure.
Terry Medhurst
Director/Principal Geotechnical Engineer
BE (Civil) (Hons) PhD, MIEAUST, CPEng NER, MAusIMM, CPMin, RPEQ
Terry has over 27 years experience as a Geotechnical and Mining Consultant. He has provided design and operational support (geotechnical) for underground and open pit mines, progressing to management of feasibility studies, due diligence and operational reviews in Australia, PNG and Indonesia. Prior to this he managed projects in mine tailings disposal, dam stability analysis, pavements and hydro-electric construction in addition to a period in mining research with the JKMRC and CSIRO. Terry is well regarded in the coal mining industry and is considered one of Australia’s leading authorities in coal mining geotechnical expertise.
Alan C. McPherson
Principal Civil/Structural Engineer
Alan has a long history of providing specialist engineering in the areas of residential subdivisions, industrial subdivisions and tourist projects in the North Queensland region. He has over 35 years experience in a broad range of areas including project management, infrastructure planning and design, roads and stormwater engineering design.
Jeffrey Sue Yek
Principal Civil Engineer

Jeff’s has over 35 years experience in infrastructure planning and design, roadworks, rail, stormwater drainage, water supply systems, sewerage systems, hydrological and hydraulic analysis. He has worked extensively throughout Queensland on many wide and varied projects.
Chris Taifalos
Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
BE (Civil), MIE Aust, CPEng, NER, RPEQ
Chris has quickly progressed to management responsibilities across a range of projects, including large civil construction and mining infrastructure projects, Owner’s representative roles on government infrastructure programs, expert advice and loss adjustment for major insurers. This experience includes initial scoping and feasibility assessments through to detailed design, tender preparation and management.
Romy Quis
Senior Structural Engineer
BE (Civil), MIE Aust, CPEng, NER, RPEQ
Romy is a senior structural engineer with over 15 years’ experience on a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial projects both as project leader and designer within a multi-disciplinary project team. Her diverse experience includes delivery of a broad range of projects encompassing public and private building infrastructure.

Thursday Island beautification project

Council appointed us to provide project management, design documentation and contract administration on the $2.2 million project that consists of pathways extending 500 metres, electrical works and observations decks.
